((Anyway, whatever first one or two threads he has will be a little more inspiring, now that he knows he isn't alone. Prior to all of this, he's only been sitting where he woke up, looking around.))

What a funny little device. I had thought I'd lost my marbles when I first heard it at work. Everyone can hear me here, can't they? I'm Clive Dove and it seems I'm a far, far way from home. I'm in no rush to return, so is there perhaps a place I could lodge or find clothes until I've got myself sort out here?

He lets out a sharp whistle through the journal.]

I'll send you a signal. Don't be dazzled by the flames for too long, though.

[He'll just jump on the top of a tree a ways in the forest, and send out 2 signals so he won't miss 'em.]

((Clive caught those second signal flames relatively quickly, realizing he was just slightly off course from finding this stranger. Now, with any luck, this was all a dream, the two of them would punch him, and he would wake up again in a jail cell, told that a bit of rubble fell off a nearby building and knocked him out.

Somehow, this was the ideal scenario.

So he quickly redirects his course, quickly coming to the meeting spot. He raises his brow as he looks around, disturbing a scab over his eye and causing his countenance to flinch. What a dreadful mess. He retaliates, and calls out,))

[Oh and speaking of showing off? The king of showoffs has arrive complete in his flaming blue and sparkling glory. Yes. Sparkling. Because being the only damn blue phoenix around, and possible "ever" just isn't enough for this bastard. He has to sparkle too. He spots Clive from overhead and circles slightly, both as a signal to Ace, and in case Clive is lost.]

[He heads on over to where Marco's circles around, looking around for Clive. He raises an arm to wave, and sends up a whistle to Marco.]

OI! You can stop sparkling now! [He walks over to Clive, a smile on his face.]

Clive, right? Nice to meet you in person. I'm Ace, and the showoff bird up there is Marco.
